Leslie Speas, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CSP - VP of Culture & Consulting at The Resource
Leslie Speas is a dedicated HR and Organizational Development professional with over 25 years of experience in all areas of the HR field. During her career, she has built several HR departments from the ground up. In her role at The Resource, Leslie is building a Human Resources and leadership consulting arm of the business. Consulting Services offered include: HR Compliance/HR Audits; HR Outsourcing; Employee Handbook/Policy Development; Employee/Leadership Development; CORE Assessment for employee selection and teambuilding; Outplacement Counseling; and engagement/retention consulting. Leslie is passionate about helping companies to elevate their performance through their people. Leslie has a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and HR Management, as well as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, and CSP certifications. She is also a Certified Professional Coach.
Grace McParland, CSP - Marketing Manager at The Resource
Grace McParland is an innovative Marketing and Communications Professional, with experience spearheading advertising and brand awareness campaigns, developing content across the menagerie of modern mediums, and implementing cultural enhancements aimed at increasing brand loyalty among top performers. Since receiving her Degree in Sociology & Psychology from UNC Charlotte, she has held Marketing roles in both the Clinical Research and Staffing/Recruiting & Consulting industries. Grace is passionate about debunking misguided ‘Millennial’ stereotypes, while simultaneously supporting and giving voice to the changing workplace dynamics that millennial leaders are ushering in. Namely the vital importance of career fulfillment factors – beyond just a paycheck! Grace is an ASA Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) and a trained presenter of The Resource’s CORE Assessment™.
