Leaders need a lot of things to be successful, but the two that impact everything are self-leadership and self-awareness. Self-leadership is the transformation of self to get where you want to go and self-awareness is the conscious knowledge of your own values, feelings, motives, and perceptions that influence your thoughts and behaviors that will get you where you want to go. Our first 6-hour session will focus on developing these two aspects of your leadership.

Trust is the foundation of effective, communication and engagement in the workplace. This session will provide you with tools and information to help you to build and maintain trust in your team. The session will also help you improve essential communication skills including giving and receiving feedback; listening to make sure you hear the real message; and coaching to help guide people to their goals. Finally, this session will help you to cultivate an environment resulting in higher levels of engagement within your team and organization.
Performance management is the ongoing process of improving employee performance through setting goals, feedback, coaching, counseling, and corrective action. This session will help you to best manage performance on your team resulting in higher levels of performance. As a leader, it is very important that you understand relevant HR laws to ensure that your actions are in accordance with the law and to minimize risk within your organization. Finally, in this session you will learn how to build and foster a high performing team. You will learn about the characteristics on dysfunctional teams and what you can do to improve performance and engagement within your team.

Using their wisdom about and experience with the CORE and the content from the training, our team of coaches will help you take the information from the sessions and figure out how to apply it in your day-to-day life. Leslie recently joined The Resource as VP of Culture and Consulting. She has worked in the Human Resources field for 25+ years and brings a wealth of knowledge related to general HR, employee engagement, and Leadership. She holds SPHR, SHRM-SCP, and Certified Professional Coach certifications as well as a Masters’ Degree in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology and HR Management.
Josh Cole
Josh helped found Trevero Consulting, sister company of The Resource. Driven by a desire to cultivate people to achieve their greatest potential, he began his journey into leadership consulting in 2014 after 10 years of experience working for Chick-fil-A. He has worked in a coaching & consulting role with over 100 Chick-fil-A Operators and Leaders. He is a CORE Assessment consultant and uses that knowledge to focus organizational culture on people and service, conduct one-on-one coaching sessions, assist in the creation of talent management strategies, and produce team development training classes.
